Hard at play

Today was so great!  We were outside most of the day.  I love that we can be out in our yard WITHOUT shoes on.  It's so nice.  Out last place we had thistles all over.  Our yard is half the size but that's ok, John doesn't have to mow as much.  We got a 'John powered' mower, he likes it.  

We had a 1st birthday this month.  She still feels like a baby.  All the others seemed older by now but I guess because she is the 'baby'.  I still have to carry her everywhere, I don't know when she'll feel 1 to me.  Maybe when she starts to walk.  HOPEFULLY it will be soon.  I love it that she crawls now, she is so happy to be able to go where she wants to go.  I have loved every stage of all my kids!

She is a cute 1 yr old!  We have been blessed to have happy kids (for the most part)

Catching up...

Well, life is great and busy.  I have pictures to post but my camera is downstairs and I'm not in the mood to go get it.  :)

But I'll tell you about the pictures, that's just as good right? 

My 'looking down' picture, I had the camera in my hand, thinking about what I could shoot, when I looked down and I had 2 babies at my feet.  There was the shot.  Perfect.

Then, what else was there...  There was a 1:00 one, and that day me and my 2 oldest were having a crazy game of Skip Bo.  So I was too busy to take a picture.  When ever the 2 little ones are napping at the same time, that time is precious and I get to do big girl things with the big girls.

For 'A place that I went'  (or something like that)  I do have a picture AND a web site.

This is my father in laws place.  Beautiful.  He is working hard to make it into a B&B place.  It's a 2 minute walk to the beach in Powell River.  There are apartments with kitchens, so if you didn't want him to cook for you..... then you have that option!

I love it there.  We're going to go sometime soon and I CAN"T WAIT!

Photo Day #22 & #23.

The last thing I bought was this:

It is my digital Scrapbooking holder.  It's got my pages I'm working on and all my 'paper' and 'embellishments'.  I had a wonderful collection a while ago but our computer died and all was lost.  So now I have this.

If I loose it I will cry.  It's 18GB half full of info and memories.

And now for the Day #23 picture:  Veggies-

This was supper tonight.  Turkey, mashed 'potatoes'(it's actually smashed cauliflower), and roasted asparagus and crimini mushrooms.  Yum yum yum!   I love veggies, salad, stir frys etc!

Not all is lost......

I have discovered that sometimes, computers are GREAT!  We recovered all my pictures and all is well.  Now I can sleep happy! 

Day #21- Bottle

 

We took the girls to Elbow river today for a hotdog roast for lunch.  I love being so close to the mountains.  It has been a great day!  It is the 'Pure Life'. 

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!  I was just going to post more pictures from our trip, like of the kids and family by the falls, and I accidentally DELETED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS is the only picture I have from today.

4 Days in 1

So I haven't been very good at getting to the computer every day.  Life is so busy and there's just other things I give priority to.  I would love to split myself into - 4.  No maybe 5.    1 me to clean the house, 1 me to play with the kids, 1 me to cook and clean up the mess,  1 me to run errands and do the shopping, 1 me to do gardening and work on the food storage and 72 hour kits, 1 me to do some family history, and 1 me to take care of me and the hubby.  

How many is that?

Maybe I need more me's.

But here are some photos from the last few days and tomorrow.  (Tomorrow I want to get ready for the weekend, I have a little fun family outing planned.    shhhhhh.............)

I love my girls natural curls, sometimes wild curls but I love it.  This was taken yesterday.  The 'little little' one loves the 'big little' one.

This is the extent of what I can draw.  I painted the tree trunk.  Impressive right??  I love my family tree!  All 7 of us.

This is what I don't like.  TIME.  It just goes by faster and faster and I feel like nothing gets done.  But I DO play with my kids and try to get our lazy butts outside so that is the most important thing.  The rest will get done one day, maybe....

Day #16- Flowers

Well, I have nothing blooming yet in my garden so I thought of this.  My wedding arrangement that my cousin made for me.  There were many things I loved about my wedding day, like how fairly cheap it was.  :)  I borrowed a great dress(I would hate having something sitting in my closet I'll never wear again, or even be able to fit, it would drive me nuts), fantastic entertainment, the center pieces just had to be popped and garbaged.  Hopefully not to long to take down for those that helped.    

But my flowers were perfect & beautiful!  Here they are.  The picture really doesn't do it justice.  I should find a different picture but I'm busy and won't.   See ya tomorrow!
